My name is Austin Lord, and I’m so glad you’re here. Throughout my photography career I have had some very amazing opportunities — documenting artists playing the biggest arenas in the U.S., shooting magazine covers, capturing portraits of hundreds of different people, creating imagery for some amazing brands and even assisting one of the top photographers in the world on assignments for Vanity Fair and Vogue.
While I love creating all types of imagery, the ones that I find most rewarding to be a part of are the ones where I get to capture a connection. Whether that’s a family, a couple in love, or just simply capturing the depth of a person in a portrait. These are the images that are deeply meaningful to those involved and grow in deeper meaning with each year that passes. These aren’t images that are thumbed away into the abyss of social media after being seen for a second or two. These are the images that are created to be displayed in your home, to be a catalyst of story time, and to be the thread that weaves future generations with this one.
