3 Amazing Free Photo Shoot Locations in Nashville, TN

It can often be a challenge trying to decide where you want to have your portraits taken. I thought I would try to make it a little easier and share a few of my favorite go-to locations in the Nashville area. These locations not only give a good variety of textures and backdrops, but they also have very easy parking that is free!

1. Warner Park Nature Center

7311 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221

I love doing photo shoots here when my clients are wanting beautiful shots with lots of greenery and nature in their photos. There is a lot of tree coverage here which makes for nice, soft lighting in the mid-afternoon to sunset. There are plenty of paths to explore in the woods, a little pond surrounded by a stone path, and even a library.

2. Cumberland Park in Downtown Nashville

592 S 1st St, Nashville, TN 37213

This has been one of my favorite places to shoot in Nashville for a few years. It’s the perfect spot if you want to take photos with the Nashville skyline in the background. There is also amazing rustic texture for days which is perfect for headshots and portraits. In addition to the industrial elements, there is also a section of the park that has lots of trees and greenery. You can do one shoot at this location, but it make it feel like you traveled to multiple locations.
